Beacon Music Centre in Southmead is the base for our creative learning programme – a playful, inclusive space for everyone to build confidence, learn skills and celebrate togetherness through music.

Our team of professional tutors and music leaders help develop individual and collective talent and celebrate freedom of expression in all of its glorious forms.

Through lessons and group playing, we help everyone grow their passion for music.

Getting Here

 

  On foot

Beacon Music Centre is located on Stanton Road in Southmead, 1km from Southmead Hospital.

 

  Bicycle and e-scooter

Bicycle racks are available in Beacon Music Centre’s on-site car park by the main entrance.

Voi e-scooters are available for hop-on hop-off short-term rental across Bristol. There are designated e-scooter parking areas near Southmead Hospital. Please check the Voi app for the latest information.

 

  Bus

The nearest bus stop is Pen Park Road. Beacon Music Centre is 200m from the bus stop.

 

  Car

Follow directions to Southmead Hospital from Gloucester Road then turn onto Pen Park Road to access Stanton Road.

 

Car parking

Beacon Music Centre has an on-site car park which is free to use for visitors.

 

  Train

Bristol Temple Meads is the nearest mainline train station. Other public transport connections are required to access Beacon Music Centre.

Our creative learning centre in Southmead is open:

Open for pre-booked lessons and activities Monday-Sunday.

Online booking and registration is available 24 hours. If we experience any issues with our systems, we will post updates on Twitter.

Beacon Music Centre office staff are available to meet in-person by appointment only. Should you wish to meet with a member of Beacon Music Centre staff, please arrange via telephone or email.

Toilets, including accessible toilets, can be found to the left of the main entrance of Beacon Music Centre.
