Bristol Centre for Musicians

Bristol Centre for Musicians
Bristol Cathedral Choir School, College Square, Bristol, BS1 5TS

Bristol Centre for Musicians is home to BPM’s family of bands, ensembles and orchestras. Young musicians can join a range of age and level appropriate ensembles and bands which progress to the Bristol Youth Orchestra, widely regarded as one of the best youth orchestras in the South West. All BPM bands and ensembles have an excellent reputation in the city for producing talented musicians.

Musicians have the opportunity to progress through the ensembles as their playing develops. Sessions are split between sectional coaching and performance rehearsals. Performances take place approximately three times a year in venues including Colston Hall, the Victoria Rooms and St George’s Bristol. Led by conductor Eiron Bailey, the Bristol Youth Orchestra is a member of the Association of British Orchestras and has a close association with Colston Hall as a Young Company in Residence.
